#2 | The End of Lost | LOST
“The most important part of your life was the time that you spent with these people. That’s why all of you are here. Nobody does it alone, Jack. You needed all of them and they needed you.”
Six seasons of television all amounting to this. And I loved it. I know a lot of people didn’t, but I did. I loved the sci-fi elements of LOST and yes, I wanted some answers, but my love of the show wasn’t riding on this. I knew not everything would be made clear. I chose not to focus on this. Instead, I look at the last episode of LOST as a being a big nostalgic look back at the series. And I can’t really ask for more then that. I love the characters. You can have all the mystery and plot twists you want, but if you don’t have good characters, you don’t have anything. I’ve watched the episode countless times, and enjoy it every time. Seeing old faces will always make me happy. Couples reuniting, I cry every time. It’s a fitting end to a show about a group of people making their way through the craziness together.

7. Desmond Hume | Lost
Three days before you came down here, before we met, I heard a banging on the hatch doors, shouting. But it was you John, wasn’t it? You say there isn’t any purpose, there’s no such thing as fate. But you saved my life, brother, so that I could save yours.
“Last week most of us were strangers. But we’re all here now, and God knows how long we’re gonna be here. But if we can’t, live together… we’re gonna die alone.”
